Current Residence: Rabanastre Apartment complex. Flatmate with Jack Skellington.

Occupation: First year University student studying civil engineering and works as a part time auto mechanic. He’s not all too sure with what he wants to do in life just yet.

Personality: Squall Leonhart has been described as the lone wolf and the isolated pouty jerk his entire life. Not only is he usually aloof and highly uninterested in things that don‘t concern him, he can easily be seen as cold and standoffish. He likes to keep to himself, thinking that having social relationships is basically a waste of time and that there is only one person he can rely on-- himself. Squall isn’t very talkative although when he does get speaking he can usually throw together apathetic comments or retorts. He seems the follower type, always listening to tasks given to him for school and work, even though everyone around him seems to think he would be best suited as a leader, much to his inner dismay. He has a tendency to think to himself much too often, having an inner commentary constantly running in his head about the world around him.

Even though Squall may seem like the most introverted person there is to meet in the world, underneath his cold and icy glares, insecurities and manner, he’s actually capable of caring and trust. The little friends that he does manage to make indeed know that Squall does love and care for certain people around him and that it is just the way that he is. He can probably come to outwardly showing he cares for people with time, if those people give him it and allow him to be the person he is as well. In by no means is Squall a mean person but actually has such captivating worth and is just quiet and has a tendency to keep all of his comments to himself which is not necessarily always a good thing.

Biography: Squall Leonhart was raised in Twilight City for as long as he can remember surrounded by the walls of the Kramer Orphanage. Unfortunately, that is as far as he can remember about his past, other than those stony walls. He has no parents as far as he knows, long ago forgotten and not part of his memories. His past consisted of his older sister and the few children that he grew up with in that orphanage. He was happy as a kid, truth be told. He smiled sometimes, looked up to people and had childish adventures. His sister and he were nearly inseparable, and he loved her dearly. Although his sis wasn’t his by blood, there wasn’t any other person he’d rather spent time with other than his matron.

So when his sister got picked up and adopted one day and she disappeared from his life forever, Squall didn’t have anyone else to look up to and didn’t want to try and get close to anyone else. He quickly grew up the next following years in an isolated state, deciding to stay away from people rather than trying to get close. His sister had left as well as his parents, so how was he supposed to know if anyone else was going to be leaving him?

His childhood wasn’t that important to him anyway. Squall Leonhart grew up quickly after that. Never being adopted did not help his growing apathetic personality, and when he turned sixteen he found himself emancipated and on his own. He finished school on his own and worked as many hours as he could to pay for the things that he needed to pay. All his hard work and waste no time attitude managed to pay off soon enough and Squall managed to apply and get accepted for a student loan and later entered university studying civil engineering.

What this lone wolf doesn’t really realize is the significance of the people in his past. Since he’s long forgotten any of those details, he hasn’t gone over them and probably never will unless forced to. The truth of his past is that his surrogate sister from that story book orphanage was taken back to her original foster father which so happened to be his biological father. Such a secret is yet to be revealed to Squall. The details of his past are blurry and even his real father probably has no idea Squall even existed due to some complicated matters.

The world he lives in now is one where he only takes care of himself, has few friends in which he occasionally show the caring side he has to them and keeping the majority of his relationships minimal. His life is a university student working on his own and trying to make something of him although he wouldn’t mind much fading into the background. It’s the people around him and his rival that will probably have a bigger effect on him, if the time ever comes for him to change or just find out what the truth is.

Other Notes: Some of his closer friends call him Leon as a sort of nickname. He also harbours the secret of enjoying chocolate milk in the middle of the night.
